Roman has accompanied e-commerce and web technology for more than two decades: as author of the O'Reilly books on OXID eShop, as industry analyst at software vendor commercetools, as podcaster and speaker on stages otherwise reserved for buzzword bingo.
His craft: Understanding technology, putting it into context and explaining it so you can decide. And building: the AI agents that automate our own shop come out of his workshop.
Joscha built the e-commerce agency marmalade from 3 to 50 people, developed the software product Makaira and successfully sold both companies in 2023. He knows what responsibility for a business feels like, and he spots faster than most whether an idea will become a business.
His craft: The conversation with clients in which a vague idea turns into a concrete product. And the implementation afterwards, until it runs.
We have known each other for more than ten years and wrote a book together for O'Reilly, the OXID eShop Cookbook.
